Dressing for the Chair

A note on the house uniform, and why what the staff wears is part of what the guest is buying.

The house uniform was designed with the same care as the room: dark, tailored, and marked with the gold razor-X at the chest and the full lockup at the collar.

It reads as hospitality, not as a shop apron — deliberately closer to a restaurant floor than a salon.

Uniform is the first sentence the staff says before anyone speaks.

Why it matters to the guest

A well-dressed floor raises the register of the entire room. Guests match the standard they are shown; men who are greeted by someone in a pressed jacket tend to arrive dressed a little better themselves.

That reciprocity is the quiet mechanism behind every club worth belonging to.
